Just seven of the 24 stunning newly redeveloped townhouses at Royal William Yard are left to buy – and an open event is taking place this month to view the remaining properties and find out more.

Head along to this drop-in session at the Factory Cooperage show home on Saturday 28th September, 10am – 4pm for a guided tour, meet the team behind the project, and ask any questions.

The latest chapter in Royal William Yard’s regeneration story, which has spanned two decades, has focused on the restoration of the Factory Cooperage building. South West developer, Poppy Developments, has transformed the Grade I building into bespoke 2, 3 & 4 bedroom homes. The project began last year and the work is expected to be completed in Spring 2025.

Progressing well and proving popular, a number of residents have already moved into the new properties. They benefit from a prime location right at the heart of the Yard in a bustling neighbourhood that already boasts over 200 RIBA award-winning apartments, all packed with character and original features.

The town houses are being created by a skilled and experienced team, blending together modern design and historic architecture, all set within in a unique coastal community. They have a 999 year lease, 6 year warranty, with economical management fees, energy efficient (EPC Rating C), and come with allocated parking that is EV ready. Each house has original stone features and Italian designed kitchens.

A heritage site with the largest collection of Grade I listed military buildings in Europe, Royal William Yard has undergone significant transformation and has evolved into a vibrant mixed-use destination, testament to years of hard work, design-led regeneration and thoughtful placemaking by redevelopment specialist, Urban Splash.

Factory Cooperage is one of the final buildings to be transformed within the revitalised waterfront community. Anyone wishing to find out about the new homes can take a look at the work of Poppy Developments here
