Kicking off a vibrant winter events calendar, the Royal William Yard marks the new winter home of the award-winning Good Food and Craft Market, with the chance of winning a bountiful hamper. Set to take up residence within the Yard’s historic Melville building, market goers are being offered a chance at winning an array of locally sourced, artisan treats from the popular market.

Held in the heart of the Royal William Yard on Sunday 3rd November, the market celebrates the coming festive season, whatever the weather. Running from 10 am – 3pm, visitors are invited to explore the ground floor of Melville, the Yard’s oldest building, to peruse the freshest local produce from the South West’s top suppliers and unique arts and crafts by skilled makers.

Held in what was once the central administration centre for the Royal Navy Victualling Board, market goers will be treated to not only a unique location, but also an impressive collection of stalls located both inside and outside of the iconic building. Boasting over 80 different traders, visitors can enjoy delicious street food and a diverse retail experience, discovering everything from handmade fine jewellery and bespoke wooden gifts, to freshly baked cakes and authentic Thai food.

To mark a relocation with rich heritage, the Yard is offering one lucky winner the chance to take home a hamper packed full of market delights. The hamper will include a Christmas pudding from Plymstock Pantry, Domea Favour chocolate, Beer from Bulletproof Brewing, bottles of Hudnott’s and silver jewellery, as well as a selection of free food and drink vouchers. Simply visit the market to enter!

Yard Card holders, Royal William Yard’s loyalty membership card, will have access to a range of exclusive offers and discounts from a variety of market traders. Ranging from 10% off purchases to discounts on selected items. As ever, they can also take advantage of exclusive offers, deals, discounts and competitions from a variety of the Yard’s resident restaurants and retailers. For those looking to benefit from a Yard Card, simply sign-up at the market.

Hailey Cattle, Regional Marketing Manager, Royal William Yard said: “One of our most popular events, the November market sets the tone for the Yard’s jam-packed winter events programme. Whether it’s indulging in fresh, local food and drink, choosing a unique gift for a special someone, or taking advantage of exclusive Yard Card offers and entering our competition, there’s plenty on offer for the whole family to enjoy.

“Take the opportunity to discover what else the Yard has to offer, embark on a brisk coastal walk, enjoy a cosy meal at one of the many eateries or get those creative juices flowing with a visit to Make at 140 and Ocean Studios. That’s not all, with the festive season fast approaching there’s plenty more merry events on the way - keep your eyes peeled, as we’ll soon be revealing exciting news about our Christmas markets!”
