The Scribes are an award-winning hip-hop act from Bristol, known for their signature blend of live instrumentation, samples, and boom-bap beats. Renowned for energetic live shows featuring beatboxing, crowd interaction, and freestyling, they’ve become festival favourites at events like Glastonbury, Wireless, and Boomtown.

Having performed alongside legends such as Macklemore, MF DOOM, De La Soul, and Wu-Tang Clan, The Scribes are recognised for their innovative sound and collaborations. They’ve released critically acclaimed projects under US label Kamikazi Airlines and UK’s Quill Equipped Records, earning awards like UndergroundHH.com’s “Concept Album of the Year.”

With regular airplay on BBC Introducing and BBC Radio 1Xtra, plus a deal with international agency Stimulus Management alongside acts like Nas and Busta Rhymes, The Scribes are celebrated as one of the UK’s most exciting hip-hop groups.
