Beyond Series: Radical - Everyman Cinema

This Mexican comedy-drama, follows the story of Sergio (Eugenio Derbez) a teacher at a poorly run school, Jose Urbina Lopez Elementary, in the border town of Matamoros which is rife with corruption, violence and neglect.

The students are among the worst performing in Mexico and have little motivation as their classrooms are dominated by an atmosphere of overbearing discipline, not possibility. Sergio (Derbez) decides to take matters into his own hands and tries a radical new method to unlock the students' curiosity, potential - and maybe even their genius. There's just one problem: Sergio has no idea what he's doing.
