Rebecca Roberts

Rebecca has always lived close to the coast and as a result it has had a strong
influence in her work. Currently this is resulting in two harmonious collections:
Collection one is elegant and functional everyday homeware made from porcelain.
These have coastlines hand drawn into thrown forms that are then enhanced by
inlaying coloured porcelain into them. The second collection, made up of pictures
and bowls, has a more abstract feel to them. With these she is exploring and
encouraging some of the natural properties and reactions of the porcelain, looking to
the material to be itself and being more led by it.

Lucy Green

Lucy Green is a ceramic artist based in Cornwall. She earned a BA in Ceramics from the University for the Creative Arts and later completed an MA in Fine Art at Bath Spa University. Working primarily in small-batch production, Lucy creates functional ceramics that celebrate the relationship between art and everyday life. Her practice is rooted in the belief that handmade objects should not only be admired but also used, becoming an integral part of daily routines.
