Our market attracts some of the region’s top artisan makers as well as the region’s finest food and drink producers and vendors.
Taking place on the first Sunday of each month from 10:00 - 15:00, on the lawn, main street and moving into Melville building in winter months.
Known for showcasing some of the region’s most talented artists and makers, the markets offer everything from tasty treats to handcrafted gifts. The monthly markets have been a staple of Royal William Yard’s event calendar for years, and have event won awards along the way.
Visitors can make a day of it – if not a short stay! The vibrant array of bars an eateries are open for indoor and outdoor visits, stunning Grade II listed Rooms by Bistrot Pierre is welcoming overnight guests again, cultural hub Ocean Studios has a variety of workshops and exhibitions taking place, and there are countless places to explore and things to do throughout Royal William Yard.
Those heading to the markets should note that a new, simple one way system will be in operation, to help manage the flow of traffic and keep the area safe for all. On entering the Yard under the arch and passing Gatehouse and Guardhouse, vehicles will be directed to turn left and follow signs for parking. The ‘Main Street’ – running past the green and alongside the marina – will now be a one-way system for exiting traffic.
Our Good Food & Craft Market takes place on the first Sunday of each month, from 10am-3pm
