Some of the best views of Royal William Yard are from the water - and now, arriving that way is easier than ever.

Plymouth Boat Trips operates the Waterlink Ferry, a regular passenger service connecting Royal William Yard with The Barbican and Saltash. Whether you're crossing from the city centre or travelling in from southeast Cornwall, the ferry offers a scenic link between some of Plymouth's most visited waterfront destinations.

For those looking to explore further, the Cremyll Ferry departs from Admirals Hard, 5 mins walk from Royal William Yard and connects directly to the Mount Edgcumbe Country Park on the Rame Peninsula.

A Waterlink Ferry connection is available from Royal William Yard to Mount Edgcumbe. The ferry departs from Royal William Yard, stops at Cremyll for passengers travelling to Mount Edgcumbe, and then continues on to the Barbican.

Please note that return journeys from Mount Edgcumbe should be made using the Cremyll Ferry, which arrives at Admirals Hard, approximately a five-minute walk from Royal William Yard.

Make a day of it; experience the restaurants, bars and boutique shopping at Royal William Yard, the historic house and acres of stunning Country Park at Mount Edgcumbe in Cornwall, and Plymouth’s historic Barbican - just a short walk from the city centre.
