Let your creativity blossom and bloom this Spring with a programme of pop-up creative workshops at Royal William Yard. Activities on offer for both adults and children, Yard Create sessions offer something fun to discover and do. Hosted in different locations around the Yard, relax with good food and drink, and create your very own masterpieces to take home.

For families, children's craft sessions will be hosted at Hub Box. There will be an array of craft materials to choose from to make fun and unique creations, with help on hand from our Craft Assistants. You don't need to pay to get involved in these drop-in sessions, but we would ask you to register your interest to ensure there’s enough craft materials for all!

For adults, local artist Jayne Ashenbury will be running three different types of workshops in The Club House. Emulate the styles of Andy Warhol and Picasso, experiment with alcohol ink, and bring your own flair to your creations - it's a great way to learn something new or refine a skill in a relaxing setting.

For adults

Paint your own Pop Art, The Club House, Monday 6th March, 6.30pm-8.30pm. Under the expert guidance of artist Jayne Ashenbury, come and paint with Andy Warhol as your inspiration. No prior art experience is necessary, and every opportunity will be offered to unleash your own creativity. Materials and tuition are all provided. Alcohol ink - a journey of discovery, The Club House, Monday 27th March, 6.30pm-8.30pm. Join artist Jayne Ashenbury and explore the wonderful world of alcohol ink. This is an interesting medium that allows you to create abstract designs and a unique masterpiece. No prior art experience is necessary, be open to not being totally in control and you’ll have a ball! Paint like Picasso, The Club House, Monday 27th April, 6.30pm-8.30pm. The work of Picasso will form the basis for the workshop, where acrylic paint and a canvas will collide (in a good way) as artist Jayne Ashenbury takes you through the painting process. Add your own personal touches to create a work of art to take home. Materials and tuition are all provided.
