Plymouth Boat Trips, the main operator of ferries and pleasure cruises in Plymouth has teamed up with Royal William Yard to offer a new 2 hour evening cruise for 2026, the Sunset Sailaway Cruise, will depart from Royal William Yard Marina on a scheduled series of Friday evenings from Friday 29th May 2026.

Owner of Plymouth Boat Trips, Ben Squire said: ‘The Sunset Sailaway Cruise is a fantastic addition to our offering. Royal William Yard is a key destination on our network of ferries and cruises, with so much to do in the yard and so much to see on the surrounding waterways, we’re excited to bring more regular events like this to locals and tourists alike this Spring.’

Passengers will board at Royal William Yard Marina and set sail across the River Tamar, for a relaxed cruise of the local waters. A complimentary drink will be served on arrival, and a full bar will be available throughout the trip. Blankets will be provided for chillier evenings on the top deck, with the option of a heated saloon below deck.

The Sunset Sailaway Cruise will depart at 19:00 returning at 21:00
