No Mother’s Day is complete without a box of chocolates, and you can’t get better than the Yard’s award-winning chocolatier Domea Favour. Ocean Studios offers one-off gifts by local artists and makers, including prints, wall hangings, ceramics and jewellery. Or get the gift of an experience, with print tutoring, screen printing, pottery workshops and more available from Real Ideas. Sewing, crocheting and knitting experiences are on offer from Make at 140, as well as crafty and creative gift sets.
Hailey Cattle, Regional Marketing Manager for Urban Splash, said, “This Mother’s Day is cause for celebration, as the restrictions during the last couple of years hampered get-togethers for many families. However you choose to mark the moment, this is the ideal place for special occasions like this, with cosy indoor settings and lots to explore in the Spring sunshine. With places to eat, drink, be pampered, or pick up a present, we have you covered here at Royal William Yard.”
