Royal William Yard is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to join our dynamic team at one of the South West's most iconic destinations. This exciting opportunity comes as we continue to expand our portfolio and enhance our award-winning spaces.

The Role

As Asset Manager at Royal William Yard, you'll play a vital role in managing our stunning collection of Grade I listed buildings in this historic naval yard turned vibrant mixed-use destination. Working alongside our Head of Commercial Property, you'll ensure the highest standards across our estate while delivering exceptional experiences for our commercial tenants and visitors.

The position offers a competitive salary of £45,000-£50,000 depending on experience, for a full-time role based primarily at our Plymouth location, with flexible remote working options available.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will manage all aspects of landlord and tenant matters, from new leases and alterations to rent reviews and renewals. You'll build strong relationships with our customers to enhance retention while positively influencing financial outcomes through market awareness.

Your role will include managing budgets, ensuring compliance with ESG standards, coordinating with external partners, and maintaining the aesthetic and brand quality that Royal William Yard is known for. You'll be instrumental in delivering the excellent customer care that sets us apart.

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for an MRICS qualified professional with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role. You'll need excellent communication skills, strong customer focus, and a proactive, creative approach to problem-solving.

The position requires someone who can thrive both independently and as part of our collaborative team, with strong knowledge of commercial property law, health and safety regulations, and experience in property management and leasing.
