With Mother’s Day on the way, Royal William Yard has all you need to lavish attention on someone special. On the hunt for inspiration to spoil or surprise, the Plymouth’s historic waterfront destination has a host of unique presents and exceptional experiences ready and waiting.

Award-winning handmade chocolates & seasonal flowers

Pulling out all the stops, independent chocolatier, Domea Favour, has paired up with Plymouth florist, Blooming Buds, to offer a perfect Mother’s Day gift. A beautiful bouquet of seasonal flowers, paired with a box of award-winning handmade chocolates (including salted caramel, raspberry cheesecake, and rhubarb and custard flavours) are available for £50 including delivery. Le Vignoble’s Mother’s Day event,

Make a day of it at Le Vignoble’s Mother’s Day event, where you will be presented with a glass of Cremant on arrival, followed by a mixed tapas platter with French cheeses, saucisson, cured ham, olives, dip and bread, and finally a trio of macarons will be served up. It is £18.75 per person and booking in advance is advised.

There are some extra-special surprises in store for mums at a number of RWY venues next weekend. The Hook & Line will be serving its Sunday Roast, promising a free glass of fizz for mums. Hub Box is offering a free dessert for each mum, mum figure or mum-to-be (for advance reservations made for Sunday 10th March – enter the code MOTHERSDAY when you book).

Bistrot Pierre is inviting guests to show how much they care this Mother’s Day with a three-course set menu for just £26.95 per person, which includes a traditional Bistrot Roast served with all the trimmings. Wildwood is running an exclusive Mother’s Day menu featuring a three-course meal and Prosecco for £32.95 per person, available from 8th-10th March. Guests can also make a meal of it at Royal William Yard’s other eateries, with Pho, Wagamama, and Seco Lounge all offering mouthwatering meals for mums next weekend.

Luxury independent cinema, Everyman, will show the 2023 award-winning blockbuster, Barbie, as its Throwback screening, which comes with complimentary popcorn and a drink. Plenty of other new releases will also be screened over the weekend, so sink into velvet sofas, have food and drink delivered to your seat, and enjoy a Mother’s Day outing with a difference.

BLOCK Café will be running a competition via social media on Mother’s Day, with the prize of a bottle of bubbly to be won. All entrants need to do is head there for coffee, cake (or other assorted treats!), take a photo of them and their mum when they visit, then post and tag @_blockcafe_
