DEVIL'S POINT CAR PARK TEMPORARY CLOSURE
Posted on: 04 Sept 2025
As advertised locally, Devil's Point public car park has been temporarily closed for a short period for resurfacing and improvement work. The closure will take place from 4th- 18th September.
Part of the project to extend the parking facilities at Royal William Yard and create 100 additional spaces, the work has been scheduled the avoid the busy summer period and school holidays.
The car parks at Royal William Yard will be open as normal, and the nearest Plymouth City Council car park – Strand Street car park – is located nearby. Bus and ferry services are running as usual and Beryl e-bikes are available on Cremyll Street.
During the Good Food & Craft Market on Sunday 7th September, a free shuttle bus will run in a loop between the City Centre and Royal William Yard. For Seafest on 13th and Sunday 14th September, a 'Shark and Ride' Plymouth Citybus shuttle bus will stop at all Seafest locations along the waterfront.
