This Mother’s Day – Sunday 14th March – there is an abundance of thoughtful and unique gifts available right on the doorstep, making it easy to find the perfect present. From handmade chocolates and gourmet meals, to fine wines and luxury spa treatments, a broad range of gifts are available at Royal William Yard, for collection and delivery.

Hailey Cattle, Regional Marketing Manager for Urban Splash, said, “We may all be celebrating Mother’s Day differently this year, but there are still plenty of ways to make it a joyful occasion. The businesses at Royal William Yard have stepped up to offer an impressive variety of gifts to suit all tastes and budgets, so that you can spoil someone special.”

Independent wine lounge and shop, Le Vignoble, is offering a luxury wine, cheese and chocolate hamper that includes: Noble Savage Sauvignon Blanc, Noble Savage Rosé, Brillât Savarin 200g (triple cream cheese), Charles Antona ‘Sélection Fromagère’ Fig Jam, Domea Favour Eton Mess Chocolate and Domea Favourvour Banoffee Chocolate Bar. The hamper is £45 and it is free delivery in PL1 - PL5 and £5 for PL6 - PL12. Deliveries will be made on Saturday 13th March, ready from the following day! Pre-order here.

Two Royal William Yard businesses have joined forces to offer an experience you can enjoy with your mum, even if you can’t be with her in person. Steel Brew Co and Le Vignoble are hosting a beer, wine and cheese virtual tasting experience, that you can gift on Mother’s Day and enjoy together a few days later on 18th March. Enjoy four bottles of Steel Brew Co. beer, four samples of wine, and four 100g pieces of cheese, plus tuition to explore the food and drink pairings, all for £35 a ticket. Book a place here.

Dine in style with Bistrot Pierre’s special Mother’s Day Box. It features a 4-course menu including honey roasted mini chorizos, toast et champignons, roast beef or turkey or our vegetarian option, and both lemon tart AND sticky toffee pudding. Coming ready-prepared and with easy-to-follow instructions, it can be made and served in under an hour. A box for two is £45, or a family box for four is £75. This is available for collection on Saturday 13th March from Bistrot Pierre, and orders can be placed here, but must be booked by midnight on Sunday 7th March.

Set to reopen soon, the Yard’s tranquil spa and clinic, Enhance Aesthetics & Wellness, has a range of gift vouchers and gift boxes available. Choose from 100% natural and vegan Devon-made luxury spa products from Lola’s Apothecary, tinted SPF lip balms from Albus & Flora, and vouchers that can been redeemed for all treatments, including those designed to relax, restore and rejuvenate. Buy a voucher for collection or postal delivery here.

Select your own box of bespoke handmade chocolates from chocolatier Domea Favour, or pick up a bar of ‘I love mum’ chocolate to mark the occasion. With selection boxes, heart shaped boxes to fill with freshly-made artisan truffles, and bars of chocolate made especially for Mother’s Day, these sweet treats will go down a treat! Order online for collection or pop by to choose a gift.

And with lockdown rules expected to change, from 8th March it is anticipated that two people from different households can meet outside, including for "coffee on a bench.” For those with family living locally, why not take a stroll on Mother’s Day and stop at the all-new Bistrot Rapide, the refurbished Citroën H van serving takeaway treats. Found on the lawn opposite Bistrot Pierre, enjoy hot and cold drinks, baguettes, cakes and pastries between 9:30am-5pm every day. Perfect for an outdoors get-together with mum!
