CREMYLL FERRY

Plymouth City Council has announced that Admiral's Hard slipway will be temporarily closed for further repairs. For further details about the slipway closure and repair works, please see Plymouth City Council's announcement.

As a result, the Cremyll Ferry will be returning to operate from Royal William Yard Marina from 10th November whilst these essential works are carried out.

ROYAL WILLIAM YARD, THE BARBICAN, MOUNT EDGCUMBE FERRY:

The Barbican Link Ferry will return for one special weekend! On Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th December, the popular service will be back on the water, perfectly timed to whisk visitors to and from the Yard’s Festive Good Food & Craft Market.

Running between The Barbican, Royal William Yard and Mount Edgcumbe, the ferry offers a scenic and convenient way to explore three iconic waterside destinations. It’s ideal for those looking to add an extra sparkle to their day - just a short ferry hop away, Mount Edgcumbe’s Christmas Fair offers a wonderful complement to the Yard’s festivities. With festive markets on both sides of the water, breathtaking views, and a relaxed way to travel, it’s the perfect way to celebrate the season. Take a look at the timetable here.

SALTASH FERRY:

The popular ferry service connecting Plymouth's historic Royal William Yard with Saltash. The end of the season and last day for this service is 2nd November - details will be provided in due course about the service in 2026.

*Well behaved dogs are very welcome on the ferry services.

Berthing

Royal William Yard boasts its very own marina. With short term visitor berths and annual contracts available, and perfect for motor boats and smaller yachts, the visiting mariner can soak up the atmosphere of this unique and special place.
