What are the opening hours?

The Yard is open 24/7 but restaurants, retails units and businesses have individual opening hours. We recommend checking ahead of your visit.

Do you have a discount card?

There is an amazing range of discounts, deals & offers, exclusively available to you with our Yard Card, apply online here www.royalwilliamyard.com/yard-card

Is there car parking available?

We have provision for more than 400 vehicles and the Yard is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Vehicular access is from Cremyll Street – the postcode for SatNav is PL1 3GD

The parking in the Yard is managed by SIP Car Parks and is operated on a PAY &  DISPLAY basis (previously a pay on exit system). You can pay for your parking by phone or at machines on site that accept coins, cards and contactless payments. You can also pay using the paybyphone parking app https://paybyphone.co.uk. Our location code is : 59542. You can also use the app to extend your stay.

Please note we have a height restriction of 5.5 m/18 ft.

Are there any disabled provisions?

All blue badge holders are free of charge and we have designated disabled parking bays located on Main Street, close to Bistrot Pierre and in Factory Cooperage near Column Bakehouse & Stores. 

The restaurants, cafes, shops & offices have disabled access and we have a portable disabled ramp to allow access to all other areas within the Yard.

What about motorbikes?

All motorcycles are free of charge. At present there aren't any designated parking bays for motorcycles.

Is there somewhere I can leave my bicycle?

We have bicycle parking in several locations around the Yard. Please see our site map which highlights bike racks.

Are there any taxi points or bus stops?

For your convenience we have a taxi pick up/drop off point just inside the entrance to the Yard. 

Various bus services run just outside the Yard and there are a number of bus stops on the roundabout.

Are there any toilet facilities?

Public toilets are available at Durnford Street, just outside the Yard, but facilities are also available in the various restaurants & cafes.

Are there baby changing / feeding facilities?

Yes, there are also facilities located within the various restaurants & cafes.

Are dogs allowed?

Responsible dog owners are welcome in Royal William Yard and there are provisions for the disposal of dog waste, including bags. A number of restaurants & cafes allow dogs but please check before you travel.

Are there any cash machines available?

The nearest cash machine is available at Admiralty Street Stores on Admiralty Street.

Can I get free WiFi?

Several of the restaurants & cafes have free WiFi for their customers to use. Just ask when you pop in.

Where is the nearest post box & Post Office ?

Where is the nearest convenience store?

The nearest post box is on Durnford Street opposite St Paul's Church.

The nearest Post Office is on Union Street opposite Lidl.

We have Column Bakehouse Stores location with in the Yard offering fresh bread and baked products, fresh local fruit and vegetables from the Tamar Valley, beers, spirits, milk and other convenience goods, perfect for residents and visitors to the Yard. 

There are also two convenience stores within walking distance of the Yard.  Admiralty Street Stores on Admiralty Street and Ferry Stores on Cremyll Street/Admirals Head.
